JNV Group’s Plastics Vertical: How Plastics Vertical is Engineering the Future of Global Manufacturing!

The parent JNV Group has a manufacturing legacy in rubber components stretching back to 1977, its strategic entry into plastics began in 2014. Fast forward to 2026, we at JNV Group now manufactures rubber and rubber-to-metal bonded components, fluid thermal systems, painted and engineering plastic components, anti-vibration parts, braking systems, ADAS (Advance driver assistance systems), and passive and active suspension systems for the automotive, railways and defence sectors.
We are living in an era of profound industrial transformation. The traditional playbooks of global manufacturing are rapidly going obsolete, replaced by a powerful triad of disruptive forces: advanced materials, hyper-automation, and unyielding sustainability. These are no longer mere upgrades to the shop floor; they are fundamental shifts redefining what can be built, how fast it can be delivered, and how we protect our ecosystems in the process.
In this high-stakes landscape, Polyrub Plastics Private Limited and Mega KLC Polymer Technologies—the dynamic plastics vertical of the JNV Group— has emerged as a technology-driven force shaping the future of polymer engineering.
Under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Rishi Sujan, the company has evolved from a targeted venture into a highly diversified manufacturing enterprise. Today, the plastics division boasts world-class capabilities in design, tooling, precision moulding, and integrated engineering solutions, setting new benchmarks across the automotive, white goods and allied sectors.
In this exclusive feature, Rishi Sujan shares the story of plastics vertical journey, its blueprint for sustainable growth, and how cutting-edge technology is driving the next generation of manufacturing excellence.
Resilient Foundations, Rapid Evolution
The Plastics Vertical started its operations with just two injection moulding machines and a clear vision: to build a technology-driven plastics business capable of delivering world-class engineering solutions.
“Our journey began with a clear vision,” reflects Rishi Sujan. “We wanted to build a technology-driven plastics business capable of delivering world-class end-to-end engineering solutions.”
Over the past decade, that modest beginning has been engineered into a diversified manufacturing powerhouse. Today, the Plastics vertical operates four state-of-the-art manufacturing plants across India, inclusive of a strategic joint venture with a European partner. Crucially, the company has transitioned from a Tier-2 supplier to direct relationships with global and domestic OEMs, expanding its footprint into critical nation-building sectors. Rishi says, “The plastics division will have about 120 injection moulding machines and two robotic paint lines by end-2027.”
Strategic Evolution: The Power of End-to-End Solutions
The inspiration behind the Plastics vertical rapid pivot was a macro-shift in global engineering. As domestic and global OEMs increasingly focus on lightweighting, advanced materials, and energy efficiency, polymers have transitioned from simple alternative materials into strategic enablers of next-generation products.
Our biggest competitive advantage is its comprehensive, end-to-end capability. The company’s portfolio spans engineering plastic moulded components, painted and decorative assemblies, PVC moulded products, designer floor mats, and fully integrated assemblies. Rather than operating as a simple component manufacturer, Plastics Vertical partners with customers from the initial concept. We deliver comprehensive engineering solutions across the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to production. Our expertise includes Product Development, Concept Engineering, CAD Design, FEA and CFD Analysis, 2D Drafting, Tooling, and Prototype Support, enabling customers to accelerate innovation, optimise designs, and deliver high-quality products with confidence.
“Our biggest differentiator is our end-to-end capability. Instead of being only a component manufacturer, we partner with customers from concept development through design, tooling, manufacturing, painting, assembly, and final delivery.” — Rishi Sujan, CEO
This integrated, “black-box” product design and metal-to-plastic value engineering approach enables OEMs to enjoy significantly faster development cycles, tighter quality control, and superior cost efficiency.
Innovation, R&D, and Digital Advantages
In the field of advanced polymer technologies, stagnation is the enemy. At the Plastics vertical, innovation is not just a department—it is embedded in the corporate culture. The company continuously invests in robotics, digital manufacturing systems, and advanced automation to minimize process losses and optimise energy footprint.
Its strategy focuses heavily on:
- Advanced Lightweight Materials: Enabling the transition to electric mobility (EVs) and smart engineering.
- Industry 4.0 Integration: Deploying real-time manufacturing analytics, digital quality systems for data tracking across all facilities to ensure unmatched traceability and consistent quality.
- From Concept to Production: 70+ Engineering Professionals delivering end-to-end expertise in Product Design and Development, Concept Engineering, CAD Design, FEA and CAE Analysis, CFD Analysis, 2D Drafting, Tooling, Prototype Support, SAP, and Embedded Systems.
- Robotics and Automation: Equipped with a 6-Axis Robotic Paint Line with IR and UV Curing and 3 Multi-Colour Robotic Floor Mat Dispensing Machines with in-house PVC compounding and auto weighing systems for high-precision automated manufacturing.
- Manufacturing Infrastructure: Currently equipped with 56 Injection Moulding Machines (60T–1000T), including All-Electric and Servo Machines, 5 Vertical Moulding Machines (45T–86T), 3 Pad Printing Machines, 2 Optical Laser Etching Machines, and CMM inspection capability with accuracy up to 1 micron.
This digital transformation provides vital supply chain visibility, predictive maintenance capabilities, and faster customer communication, giving the Plastics division a distinct competitive edge in high-precision sectors.
Balancing Performance with Sustainability
As the global manufacturing sector transitions toward environmental responsibility, the Plastic vertical views sustainability as an operational mandate rather than a compliance hurdle.
“We believe sustainability and manufacturing excellence must go hand in hand,” Rishi explains. “We are actively exploring sustainable polymer solutions, recyclable materials, and circular economy practices.”
By optimising material efficiencies and energy consumption across its plants, plastics vertical is actively proving that cost-efficiency and ecological responsibility can successfully coexist.
Looking Ahead: A Vision for 2026 and Beyond
Over the next three to five years, the Plastics vertical is focused on expanding its manufacturing capacity, deepening its R&D capabilities, and increasing smart automation across all its facilities. The overarching goal is clear: to scale not just in volume, but in reputation, becoming one of India’s most respected, technology-driven polymer manufacturers.
As a company recognised among the “Leading Plastics Companies Defining the Future of 2026,” Rishi Sujan’s closing advice for the next generation of industry innovators is grounded in continuous learning:
“Stay curious, remain patient, and never stop learning. Manufacturing is evolving faster than ever, and the future will belong to organizations that successfully combine cutting-edge technology and sustainability with strong human values.”
Foundation of a Manufacturing Legacy
